Mississippi Families As Allies would like to congratulate Tara Manning on her success while working at MSFAA. Tara Manning began working at MSFAA in April of 2010. During her short time working at MSFAA she has attended over twenty trainings and spoken at three events regarding children's mental health.
Tara is a Family Partner and through her personal experiences as well as trainings she has been able to provide support and education for other parents. Tara is a proud mother of two children who both have sever mental health issues and behavioral challenges.
During her time at MSFAA she has learned and taught others how to navigate through the education and mental health systems. When asked about her experience at MSFAA she said, ''I watched and learned. Now worth the tools I have been given I am able to give back to society what MSFAA has given to me and that is a sense of hope for a brighter tomorrow.''
